Specs:
AMD RX470
Athlon x4 860k
8gb RAM 1600mhz
650w PSU
I know this question has been answered before but it's never the same situation as mine. For some reason, turning up settings in all games that are more CPU intensive, LOWERS the CPU usage, the GPU usage is always fine but the CPU usage lowers whenever there are more CPU intensive moments and I have no idea why. I've done all that I can, stress testing to see if it's throttling (no throttle), checking for viruses of any kind, turning off AMD CnQ (I left it on because if I turn it off, 2 cores run at 50% speed, oddly enough) but the only thing that makes the CPU usage higher is if I lower the more CPU intensive settings.
I know my CPU isn't the strongest and there is a bottleneck with the RX 470 but if that's the case, how come the GPU is doing 100% usage while the CPU is barely doing anything? Shouldn't it be the other way around? If the CPU was bottlenecking my GPU, shouldn't the GPU be relaxing while the CPU goes at 100%?
