Hi,

I'm about to build a computer with an AX370 Gaming K7 and i have an old sound card (Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Champion Series) that i could use. Does it make any sense to install it or onboard sound should be better o at least the same? Thanks!

That MB has a very nice onboard audio chip in the ALC 1220. You should at least give it a try as you have paid for it anyway. If you still think your Sound Blaster is better then disable the onboard in your BIOS and have fun with Creative drivers and Win10.

Onboard sound these days is very good.

I have the ALC 1220 chipset on my mobo and have not really thought about putting in my Asus Xonar DX card from my previous build. Not really noticed it being inferior in any way yet.
