I am having crashing/freezing issues with my PC and I have been for a long time,at the start I was shrugging it off but now the games I want to play are literally unplayable. The crash can happen from 0-30 mins on almost every game,it doesn't crash on rainbow 6 siege, or fortnite and that's about it... I recently purchased Overwatch, COD WW2 and Skyrim all of which crash/freeze, I can play COD for about 10 mins where as with Skyrim (special edition NO MODS) I can't even get by the introduction on the back of the wagon and there is no error code! I have tried taking the front and side off my pc to let more air get in but it's not even over heating, I have tried everything I know of and I hope someone can help me.

SPECS:
GTX 780ti
AMD FX 8350 eight core processor
16GB RAM
2TB Hard drive
Windows 10

I'd agree freezes tend to be memory issues. Crashes / BSOD / reboots can also be PSU related but you issue doesn't sound like it. It could be GPU related as you having trouble gaming. The fact that not all your games cause issues steers me away from GPU for now. Make sure all your BIOS, Windows and drivers are up to date.

You can test your RAM for errors with MemTest86.

Freezes tend to be memory related. That doesn't mean that the ram is bad, just that something in the memory subsystem is not working right. That could be bad(or incompatible) ram, or bad ram slots or even the memory controller in the CPU is going bad. or possibly the VRMs on the motherboard are overheating. Without doing more exhaustive testing, it is a hard problem to pin down.

also have this same issues a while back and I thought it was the ram did a memtest86 and no errors then I borrow my friends Psu and no more crashes/freezing if you rule out memory, cpu and gpu maybe its psu or your mobo is failing.
