Dual Jack (Mic and Headphone) for PS4 Controller??

(Not sure if this is the right forum to ask for this, apologies if it isn't).

I was wondering if I could find an adapter similar to this one:

BUT it needs to be supported so that I can combine a headphone 3.55mm plug and a microphone 3.55mm plug into one plug so I can use it on my PS4 controller. Is that a thing?

If the jack on the controller can support both, yes.

You just have to search for it. I think that runs around $12-15 or so. My son has a Thinkpad that uses the integrated jack and he had to buy an adapter for it.
