Monitor has no signal after graphics card upgrade

I installed a new graphics card and the monitor is getting no signal,

Old Gpu-Galaxy - GeForce GTX 760 2GB Video Card
Gpu-MSI
GeForce GTX 1060 3GT OC
CPU-Intel
Core i5-4590
Motherboard-MSI
B85-G43 GAMING
Power supply
Antec

That is just a cash grab on their part. Video cards either work or they don't. Just because the fan spins doesn't mean that the card is good. They should have taken the card out and put it into another computer. It would have taken 5 minutes. VIdeo cards don't need drivers to boot into the bios. So that would be a easy to figure out if the card is good or not. Ask for your money back.

Did you every try and put your old card back in and see if that works?

I’m using a DVI cable I’ve connected it to the new graphics card and to motherboard without succes the gpu fans are spinning, I’ve pulle battery of mother board and put back in still no signal

Do you get a BIOS boot screen or just black?

I would say check your video card and make sure the PCIE power cable is plugged in. Also it doesn't matter what video card video port you use as long as your monitor is on the right input.

yes and no. its just means your powersupply is giving power to your chassis and cpu fans to work through your motherboard. thats just a part of the whole. or thru you GPU, if your fans are running in them as well.

I took it to a local computer place and they tested the new gpu and bios and said they were all working would this mean that it’s most likely the mother board?
