I bought a Samsung 850 evo 250 gb ssd, but I have no idea of what to do with it

These are my specs at the moment:

I5 4590 3.3 Ghz
Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 4gb
16gb ram 1600mhz
Corsair vs550 power supply
SHARKOON vg4-w case
MSI B85M-P33 V3 motherboard
1TB Seagate HDD

I know that I can transfer all of my data somehow, but my hard drive is basically full

I don't have any accessories either so I can't (and don't know) connect it to my pc

If I'm not mistaken I have to buy a 6gb sata cable but I could use a lot of help

All I want is to use my old hard drive as storage and my ssd for storage/windows booting

Solution
First of all, hopefully your current hard drive doesn't have more than 250 GB of data on it. If it does, you want to get that down below 250 GB.

Then download cloning software. I use Aomei Backupper.

Then connect your SSD to an SATA port on the motherboard with the sata cable.

You may need to partition and format the SSD.

Then use Aomei backupper to clone your drive to the SSD.

Then go into the BIOS and set it to boot from the SSD.

That should do it.

Here's an idea. Reload just the operating system and programs on the SSD. Make the SSD the drive that boots in the BIOS. Then the other drive will be just another drive you can access whenever you want. Yes, it will still have the original OS on it but so what.
