Building a new pc with an old motherboard, does it work?

So as I said i'm building a new PC, and i'm going to use parts from my current one (Dell Optiplex 790 SFF) and I want to know if the D28YY motherboard that the Dell uses has all the ports as the newest motherboards?

Parts i'm going to use: Gigabyte GeForce GTX1050TI G1 Gaming 4G, Mission SG GGP 1.0 PSU, Mission SG GGX 2.0 case, the 8gb ram that the 790 has, D28YY mobo, two ssd:s one 128gb and another 500gb, Intel core i7 2600, and Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo.

Sorry if my english is bad, it's not my native language. I would appreciate any help, thanks!

It may be PCI-E slot does not provide standard 75 watt power and is a low power proprietary Dell design that your Gigabyte GeForce GTX1050TI G1 Gaming 4G will not work in. You might want to research that further.

  2. Alright, thanks! I'll have to buy a new motherboard that supports both the cpu and the gpu or just buy a brand new mobo and cpu.
