I just built this high end gaming computer a few days ago, only to just find out that my Geil SUPER LUCE RGB 2x16gb will not "be compatible" with my motherboard in the ASUS Aura factor. Basically, the RAM works, the rgb lights are on and doing the default RGB lighting color effect, but I guess my motherboard, (Gigabyte Z270P D3) doesn't do Asus Aura, so I can't customize the RGB ram. Can anyone help me find a way to customize the RAM? I really want to change it. Thanks.

You have a Gigabyte Z270P D3. You can only use Asus Aura on Asus Aura compatible motherboards, such as the ROG Maximus X Formula.

Only the Lite edition does not have support to change the lights. He does not have the Lite edition.

Correct.
Apparently, there might be an way:
"I'm using my MSI B350 Arctic Tomahawk with Asus Aura and Trident Z RGB Memory no problem, you just have to go to the asus drivers site and download the utility drivers of any b350 ASUS motherboard to get the aura installer... Hope this helps someone"

So maybe downloading the utility from a Z270 ASUS board...?
