A PC I built turns on for a split second then turns straight back off

So I built this PC a while ago and I had everything hooked up and ready to go but when I pressed the power button all of the lighting from the hardware would flash for a split second and then turn off. I have a feeling it is either the PSU (it arrived with an American plug so the voltage may be different) or the cables for the USB inputs and the power button of the computer as the case I got was a very cheap one with slightly different power cables than shown in my motherboard manual.

PC specs:

GTX 1050 ti (G1 Gaming)
Pentium G4400 (With just a stock fan to cool it)
4GB Crucial 2133MHz DDR4 Ram
MSI Gaming Intel Skylake H110
EVGA 430W 80+
In-Win 503 Mid Tower Case
A WD Blue 500GB and a smaller laptop hard drive with Windows 8 on it.

I am looking for any help and suggestions that may help my cause.

Solution
Test the board outside the case, with case fans not connected, for ruling out a short. If the power supply has a switch. make sure that it's on 220.
