I am playing WoW, it says I have outdated graphics card when I go to sign onto game. I have a AMD Radeon HD 4200 that came with the computer. I saw a "AMD Radeon R7 250 2GB GDDR3 PCI-e x16 high Profile Video Card" online for sale. How do I know which graphics card will work.
Computer is a HP Pavilion p7 with windows 7 64-bit, AMD Athlon II 650 3.2GHz processor, DDR3 memory 8GB. just the way it was when i bought it. I really only use to play game use phone and laptop for anything else. Blizzard has suggested grapohics cards on there website. which will work for my needs?

Solution
You have to give exact model, because older HP computers have limitation on PCIE (wattage). As card is 75W (for example) and your PCIe limited to 35W your gpu won't work (unless it has dedicated 6pin).

Update: I've seen that Pcie is 2.0 soo there shouldn't be limitation. your best bet if you are gonna upgrade pc in future would be 1050ti (around 110-130$ and needs 6pin connector) or if you have lower budget 1030(around 70$ doesnt need 6pin and if you don't wanna upgrade and go from scratch next pc build)
