Good temps? i7-7700k?

What's the air cooler? 80C is getting up there but still completely safe temps. Is it overclocked?
It seems kind of high. For comparison I'm running an i7-980 and an i7-7800x and neither go above 55C ever with anything. On the 980 I'm running a stock cooler..on the 7800x I'm running a Coolermaster V8 and that hardly scrapes 40 C ever.

The i7 7700k tends to run hot. Those temperatures are high (80s) but safe.
My 7700k runs about the same. Planning to delid soon for better temperatures.

Pretty high temps for that cooler. It's not a fabulous cooler but it should be able to easily handle the CPU at stock.
I would reseat the cooler and make 100% sure that it's making full contact with the CPU. They are still safe temperatures but just a little uncharacteristic. It may be worth putting new thermal paste on as well.
