Hello. So i have wireless connection on my PC. My router is 4 meters away from me and a wall seperates us. When i'm online everything is great, but as soon as I try to play any online game my ping jumps to more than 2000ms. I play on european servers cuz i'm from europe. I tried to play on a croatian server (my country), and ping is still extremely high. It doesn't happen always. So it starts with 40 but then it jumps to more than 2000. I have bought another wireless adapter a lot more expensive than the other in the hopes that it will fix my problem, but absolutely nothing has changed. I have even reinstalled my windows and nothing. When I ping my ip on cmd it starts with 1ms, and then it quickly jumps to 500ms.
EDIT: it's not my carriers fault. Everything is okay with it.

The answer is most likely the server you are pinging is slowing down your response time. When servers are saturated with requests it will result in higher pings on the users end.

The alternative is that your carrier may reduce your bandwidth when you play online games. You should contact them and ask if this is a feature of your service.
