Hello Im new to building computers and I’m attempting to rebuild/upgrade a new Computer for myself and I’ve run into an issue. Once I get everything plugged in and set up and press the power button my motherboard turns on for about a second then turns off. I only can tell it’s starting because of the red LED that turns on when it does this. I’ve checked a bunch of the forums and can’t find a solution to this. I’ve double checked my standing screws to make sure it’s not shorting, placed the motherboard on a piece of cardboard with one stick of RAM, and checked all the power connections and nothing seems to work. Please help!

My setup is:

AX370-Gaming Motherboard
GEFORCE GTX 1050Ti
Beast Power Supply 700ws
AMD Ryzen 7

There are some slightly cheaper options, but one I've used many times with excellent results is the Antec EA-380D: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371033. It can handle any graphics card needing a single 6-pin PCIe power cable (yours may have one, or may not at all, like mine), which gives you some upgrade room. If you anticipate buying a much more powerful card later, I'd probably get a 550W Seasonic Focus: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151203

Weird, I am having this exact issue. I have resolved that it is the the MOBO and plan to buy a new one. I hope it is the MOBO and not the CPU otherwise I will have to buy a new CPU as well.
