why softwares on my pc are slowly connecting to internet

Hi,
I recently changed my ram to 8 gb 1600, Since then softwares like Visual Studio and Steam are taking like an hour to open. Can you tell me if its because of RAM??

Then I don't believe it it RAM that is causing your problem. I don't know what the problem is, but I don't think it is RAM. Could you have a failing disk drive or too full SSD? But "hour" is something very wrong. You will have to find more clues or symptoms before anybody can help you.

I found something, I either don't think its ram. When I connect my pc to my friends network everything seems to work fine. In mine it doesn't, but internet on chrome shows me 50mbps. Even my mac connects fine. But PC doesn't, I don't understand what the problem is..??
