Hi i have x2 gtx 1080ti i thought that by having on SLI it would boost my fps, when im playing PUBG im getting the same FPS around 50fps on 4k ultra and thats the same as if i was using 1 card?? and its like it for most games, SLI is enabled why am i not noticing a difference, ILL PAY DONATE ANYTHING for some 1 who can help me sort my sli out

Solution
Well everything I read on the forums suggest PUBG does not properly support sli and it gives no real benefit. As I mentioned before don't trust everything on YouTube. If people are getting it to work then ask them on their video commentary how they did it seeing as the gaming forums say it doesn't work. If they genuinely are getting it to work they should be able to tell you how.
Ok from a little searching I can see Sli support for PUBG was added in driver 382.53 onwards but everyone is saying although it is supported it doesn't work properly and the gains are minimal. It looks like PUBG is just another games that is poorly optimised for sli/crossfire. Unfortunately this is becoming more and more common.

Intel core 19 - 7900 cpu @ 3.30Ghz
32gb ram
asus strix motherboard

And there must be a increase because ive seen on youtube people with 1080ti SLI 4k ultra more than 60fps and even if thats not the case why am i still getting the exact same fps as if i was using 1 card??? surely there would be a boost?

I generally don't trust YouTube benchmarks, it is full of liars or people not telling the whole truth. I found this review where they tried Sli

There's a darker side to this chart as well. Unreal Engine 4 uses deferred rendering techniques that, generally don't work with multi-GPU. I did check SLI 1080 performance, and it was worse in all cases compared to a single GPU.

ill try that now as with my test gsync was on vsync was off in NCP but when i like to play i need both on or i get bad screen tear, i use predator xb321hk 60hz

It could also be your cpu. In that same article read the CPU section, here is a quote

it's pretty clear that the most important thing with your CPU will be raw clockspeed
What is your cpu boosting too while playing? If its staying around 3.3Ghz base frequency then that isn't going to help and is a very low clock speed compared to other CPU's. Over 4 cores don't help that much in that review.

This does all show how poorly optimised that game is. There lots of threads on this topic but this is the best review I found that seems to have a robust test methodology.

no its the same in game i just cant seem to get my games to run better in SLI should i just take 1 of the cards out and sell it ?? i dont know i brought it hoping for a big improvement, i mean in stress tests etc yeah results are better, but in game not at all???

Use a program like MSIAfterburner to record everything going on while gaming, it will include cpu speed. If your clock speed is staying low then your only option is to overclock, not something I can help you with as I have never read up on the i9 & X299 overclocking.

What games exactly? As mentioned above GTA V should be a good test. Unfortunately sli & crossfire support is dying, if games are not optimised to use it then it doesn't help, it can actually reduce performance. Your 3D Mark score suggests it is working fine but as I said earlier 3D mark is very well optimised for sli & crossfire.

From a little reading BO3 support was poor but got a little better. Make sure your drivers are up to date. Apparently it is common for driver updates to turn off sli support in the games display menu, make sure it is turned on.

Here is one thread on it https://steamcommunity.com/app/311210/discussions/0/490125103638765647/

how can i put it in use?? and if its not in use WHY DID THAT 3dMARK use it so confuseeeeeddddd

also where SLI enabled is there is section Phsyx should that be on auto select?

Were those temperatures while running 3D Mark? If no do the readings again while in 3D Mark.

Overwatch seems to support sli very well but you need to switch it on in NVidia profile settings from what I read. Here is a review where it is discussed

I also have some good news for those running multi-GPU solutions. GTX 1080 SLI showed excellent performance scaling— a bit too excellent, actually, as GTX 1080 SLI nearly tripled the performance of a single 1080. It's hard to tell what's going on, but I'd guess certain graphics effects are disabled with SLI, probably dynamic reflections.
