Asus Maximus Apex IX Dimm 2 questions

So I been trying to look into this on this board, it apparently has a Dimm 2 slot next to the ram made for the M.2s, but I never seen something like this before, and it can be equipped with with a memory fan.

Can the board use Samsung 960 Pros? Also, what Memory Cooler can you recommend that will work for that slot? Would love it if someone has a picture using this board showing what they did with their Dimm 2 slot as well.

Oh wait, duh I see now, it looks like the board comes bundled with these special Dimm 2 Cards that you put the m.2 into, which then utilizes a DDR4 interface. Well, now I just need to see recommendations for a Cooler to use with it.

I USE IT WITH the one pictured on all the apex advertisement pictures which is the Corsair dominator ram cooler. Fits perfect and no vibrations and it keeps my 960pros cool.

Random question but do you know if we should enable or disable the “Asus hyperkit1” option for the storage settings if running only one 960pro in the first slot which is m2.1 (not to Be confused with m2.2) ?
