My lga775 motherboard serves as background computer doing various tasks. Current cooler is approaching 10 years and i need expertise whether i should stick with my corrent one or upgrade.
Current cooler Taisol from 2008-2009 and may not be good enough for mild overclocking.
Considering the relative age of 775 socket, i don't want to spend more money on dead architecture apart from CPU and Cooler upgrade. E5200 -> Q9650.
I'm slightly worried that Taisol is not good enough for Core 2 Duo Quad, more cores add more heat.
