Worse performance in all games with SLI

Hello. I need alot of help.
I'll be short, I'm getting a severe decrease of performance in every game with SLI.
My Rig :

PSU - Seasonic Focus+ Gold 850w
CPU - i7 4790k
MOBO - Msi Z97 Gaming 5
GPU 1 - Msi GTX 980Ti Gaming 6g
GPU 2 - Gigabyte GTX 980TI G1
RAM - 24GB DDR3

Here's the thing tho. If I disable SLI in Nvidia Control panel (With both cards plugged in) I still get a lower performance compared to a single card.
Does anyone have an idea of what's wrong here?

Thanks for sharing the solution, rather than the mysterious "I figured it out" reply with no details. Sell those 980 Ti's to miners and grab a 1080! It's even better. SLI is going the way of the Dodo bird.
