My monitor is 1080p/60

I was thinking
Ryzen 1600
RX580
16 GB DDR4 3200

is this overkill for my monitor? Do i need to dial back and save money?

Please help, i play total war games.

8GB for sure, i was even thinking maybe the 1600X but i thought going for the 8GB over 4GB was a better use of $$$ rather then 1600X

True. Most 1600s and 1600Xs can hit the same 4GHz OC. The money is better spent towards the gxf solution. Are you OC'ing the CPU? If so, which cooler?

Im ordering the system this weekend, i just wanted to ask others, who know more if it was too much or not lol, and sounds like it will do what i need it to do. :)
