Sound coming through speakers but no sound in headphones when I plug them into the rear audio port

Just built a new computer:

Ryzen 5 1600x
Asrock AB350 Gaming-itx/ac
16 gb RAM
Win 10

I have a speaker system plugged into the front-side headphone jack of the computer. Everything is working fine on that end. However, I want to plug in my headphones for gaming and although Realktek HD detects when I insert and remove the headphone jack from the back-side port, I cannot hear any sound through it. My Mic does work though.

Please help!

Edit: I already tried other headphones. It's not the headphones.

On the front? Yeah when i remove the speakers from the front jack and plug in the headphones, they work. But I want both going at the same time like I did with my old mobo :(

How do I do that?

So far what I realized is that Windows (or the mobo?) prioritize the front jack, so I currently have my speakers plugged into the back, but as soon as I plug in my headphones on the front side, my speakers are disabled and my headphones work. Again, I would like both of them to work at the same time.
