Modern Warfare 2 and 3 causing entire system to shut down

Hi there

For some reason these two games are causing my whole system to shut down and restart. My PC is about 7 years old, has always run these games perfectly until now, I've never had this issue before. I've checked my GPU temps and that only heats up to about 54 degrees, I've recently replaced the thermal paste on my CPU and the temps on that only go up till about 59 degrees, so I don't think it's a heating issue (though feel free to correct me if I am wrong).

My specs are as follows -

Intel i5 760 @2.80ghz CPU
6GB RAM
160GB HDD (OSS) 2TB HDD (Steam)
EVGA nVidia Gefore GTX670 graphics card (running MSI Afterburner)
Windows 10 64 bit

I've checked in Event Viewer and can't see anything there other than the system has shut down unexpectedly.

Can anyone out there help please.

Thanks

DL

It's a NAXN 650 watt. Sorry I should have put that in to start with.

It's only just over a year old and I've had no issues with any other games.

I don't know where to monitor the voltages. Can you please advise me how to do this?

I haven't changed anything on this system in years besides upgrading the power supply last year and it's worked fine until now. The only thing I've noticed is the GPU appears to be working harder than before as the fans seem to be spinning faster.

EDIT: I've downloaded Open Hardware Monitor and checked the voltages on there. Max voltage used when running MW2 is 1.360V.

UPDATE: Problem solved. Turned out the power supply was faulty. System started randomly shutting down even when I didn't have anything running. Took it to the shop I got the PSU from and they confirmed it was faulty and replaced it under warranty.
