Ok, so I really want to upgrade my PC (https://www.gamestop.com/pc/pc-hardware/cyberpowerpc-gamer-xtreme-gxi8600gs-with-intel-i5-6600k-35ghz-gaming-computer/126546) ,but I'm not really sure how i want to go about this and I don't want to risk losing a lot of money. I was wondering if this GPU (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125879&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=11552995&PID=7706533&SID=pcg-1321908023) and this PSU (https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Bronze-Certified-Non-Modular-CP-9020120-NA/dp/B01MTZ96RU?th=1) would work well with my PC

Thank you

Your graphics card needs a single 8 pin connector which the corsair CX450 has.
You can buy it cheaper on newegg on sale :

That said, I suggest you buy something in the 550-650w range to accommodate a future graphics card upgrade.
t will run cooler, quieter, and more efficiently in the middle third of it's range.
A PSU will only use the wattage demanded of it, regardless of it's max capability.

My budget is kind of low, but one more question if I upgrade my PC with the given parts will my PC be VR ready?
