I have a i5 3570K NON OC combined with RX 570.
Will it be advisable to invest in a new Mobo to have a better performance if so, which will be better
Should i go for 8400 or 8600K. I have all the requirements like 620W PSU and 212x Cooler, so which is advisable.

Solution
^ youre right , the 8400 is the bang for Buck option.
Personally I think the 8600k is overpriced comparatively.

A stock 8400 will have no issue pushing 100% from a rx 570 at all in any scenario.

Yes the 8600k is better but its not a difference you're actually going to see unless you overclock it , have a card like the gtx 1070 or amd vega minimum & are running a 144htz screen.

Admirable
I always buy unlocked CPU's ... not because I pound them hard out of the gate, but because when I want to trade or sell them.... the CPU's with the K's on the end are always the ones that are hit with the search engines.

Even your 3570K will bring decent money compared to non K variants.

I don't use my computer for rendering and stuff, just solely for gaming and application development(VS) so which is preferred the one with K or the non-K and i have a midrange GPU only RX 570 Nitro+ so buying an unlocked processor will it affect the gaming performance that much for the price difference like $90 and also adds up the price of the cooler since i think 212x can't handle 5Ghz OC of 8600K. So which is good under my condition, I think 8400 is bang for the buck and also i'll wait for the new series of Mobos instead buying high end Z370 boards...

Well, if you are gaming the K will probably be better, it has a higher single core speed, games only run off of like 1-2 cores, so yeah the K is better for gaming, even un overclocked
