So I just built a new computer with a GTX 980Ti from EVGA. However this card does not let me even boot to bios. When I power it on, it turns everything on including the video card, cpu fans, radiator, everything. But when the HDMI Cable (Or display port from adapter) are plugged into the card, it wont boot, but it will boot with on-board graphics.
Specs:
-5 7600k
8gb Ram
Asrock z270 killer sli/ac mobo
Corsair h100i v2
GTX 980ti
The odd thing is that I know it isn't the motherboard, cause I can boot it just fine with a GTX 970 from a previous build. My only concern is this turn everything on with the card but it wont post. I don't even get an error code.
Any tips or suggestions?
