Hello, I am a high school student and received a computer from my sister that needed some upgrades because I wanted to get into gaming on the computer. A HP Pro 3500 Series. It has 4GB (I purchased more RAM and now it has 8) and 500GB Hard Drive. Also a 300W power supply. It also has an Intel Pentium G870 3.1 GHz. The case is pretty big so I'm not worried about graphic card size, but I want a good graphics for middle-high settings for Black Ops 3. But since I am on a budget I want the best I can get for about 150 at most, but a bit more is fine. Thank you!

The problem is that your PSU is unsufficient for a good graphics card. I recommend getting a better PSU with about 500 Watt. Your CPU is also a problem. Since it's a dual core it can cause bottlenecks for your gpu. First get better PSU and CPU. Then buy a gtx 750ti which is sufficient enough for bo3.

What CPU would you recommend? My ram is 2 4GB DDR3 1600mhz. To be honest out of everything in a computer the CPU is the one I have least knowledge about

An i3-3220 would work, bit i am wordied about the PSU. Since it's an HP computer it could be that they use different power cable other than atx which could be a problem. Do you have an idea of what motherboard is in the computer?
