Hello, once again a newbie question, but well i just wouldn't like to make a mistake ordering wrong memory.

I had bsod issues as well as win 10 install issue. Did a memtest this morning and had my pc running it for about 2-3 hours, 2 passes, 970k'ish errors. So i guess memory is pretty much done for xD

Motherboard is MSI H97M-E35. Dual channel ddr3-1600.

Current memory (bought the pc from germany prebuild) crucial 8 gb.
8gb 1gx64 ddr3 1600 udimm 240 pin.

I did some googling and seemed like kingston has possibly some compatible memory as well as this crucial, but seem to be out of stock in some finnish stores. (Mailed one store but no reply, guess it's busy there or my question is too dumb?)

Thanks in advance for replies.

Solution
No question is dumb if answering it fills a need.

Your mobo supports DDR3 1066/1333/1600 MHz RAM up to 2x8GB in size.

Here is your mobo manual

You didn't say how much RAM you wanted but it is better to order RAM for this computer in pairs so the RAM will work in dual channel mode, a little bit faster. You were managing with 8GB before so I will assume that 2x4GB is what you will want. But if you only want to buy 1x8GB now but maybe upgrade later to 2x8GB later then you will want 1x8GB.

Here is the guaranteed compatibility list from MSI. FYI, RAM in this list has been tested and is guaranteed to work in the mobo. But...

Here we need to find some Non-ECC 240pin UDIMM DDR3 1600 MHz RAM with either a 1.35 or 1.50 volt rating. RAM performance is mainly specified by it's speed (MHz) and timings. The primary timings spec is it's CAS number. You want higher RAM speeds and lower timing numbers.

This link lists RAM supported on the H97M-E35 as determined by PCPartPicker. It is a very reliable list and shows German online vendors.
https://de.pcpartpicker.com/products/memory/#Z=8192002&s=301600&sort=price&page=1

On this Finnish online website the cheapest DDR3 1600 MHz as the G.Skill 2x4GB Ares Low Profile RAM with timings of 9-9-9-2N (first number is the CAS number). Very good RAM actually.

So just look around for any RAM found on the PCPartPicker list and you should be good to go.

Aight, thanks a lot for the response!
Gotta bookmark the pcpartpicker site, never stumbled upon it until now that you linked it.

For the guarantee reply. I seemed to only find note of 1 year warranty, so thats why replacing it with guarantee isnt my priority tho i might try it after i buy new memory. Then ofc would sell the guarantee one probably if i should get one from there too.
