Adding extra RAM into my pc causing multiple issues

I already have 8gb of DDR3 working fine in my PC with no issues at all, I add an extra 4gb x 2 sticks of the same model and type to my Asus Z-97 motherboard and it’s causing issues such as

Freezing
Causing the HDMI connection to my monitor to not work (screen stays black)
General crashes
One stick of ram wasn’t even appearing in the BIOS

Any Idea on what’s happening? Faulty sticks?
Motherboard issue?

Help me pls

Try to take out the stick that you had at the beginning and put in the two new ones you got, see if it works

How do i go around doing that?

I know they're the exact same bunch of sticks as the ones I've currently got in:)
