Any reason to upgrade??

I just finished upgrading my 2600K to an 8700K along with an OCZ M.2 SSD. I have a 550ti that's about 5 years old. I mess around with video and audio encoding a little but don't game. So back to my original question - any reason to dump the 550ti and get like a GTX 1060 or similar? I figure the processor can handle my encoding needs, so would a new graphics card really do much for me in the way of a better picture or anything?

No, unless you're looking for higher resolutions like 4k or just want a better graphical performance. In those cases,
a RX 550 or GT 1030 is enough.

Thanks. I honestly wasn't sure if a new card would do much for me and I'd rather keep the $$$ in my pocket vs spending on something that wouldn't be much of an improvement.
