My laptop frequently stops being able to connect to wifi even though my phone still can. But it happens to my brothers pc and phone in the same way at the same times.
I live above a pub and use "The Cloud" public Wi-Fi with a VPN as my internet connection. I think computers are being blocked from connecting at certain times, like if a lot of data has been used after a busy day downstairs, but not phones. I've been searching to find a way to either trick the router into thinking my laptop is an android device, or try and route traffic from my laptop through my phone on it's way to the router. If my theory is correct, are those two things even possible? Or am I barking up the wrong tree? Thanks.
