CPU stays around 57 degrees C

So I just recently build a completely new rig. Everything is working fine, but I’m a little worried about my CPU temps. It hovers around 57. I had some issues with my mobo, so I had to get it replaced, doing so led me to having to leave my CPU out, and the thermal paste dried. When I got the new mobo I didn’t take off the paste before I applied more. Would this be an issue?

Using a DEEPCOOL GAMMAXX 400 CPU cooler on a Ryzen 7 1700x 8 core (3.4GHz)

Yes, always clean up old paste before applying new paste. Did you check temp when stress test or is that just idle/light load temp? 57C is fine.
