Hello!
I’m very new to hardware side of the computer world and am looking to add an Intel Optane 900p 280 GB AIC form SSD (long story as to why). My mother board is an Asus Z97M Plus which to my knowledge has 1 PCIe 3.0 x16 and 1 PCIe 2.0 x16. I currently have an EVGA Nvidia GTX 1070 graphics card installed. My questions is, with this set up, could my mother board support an Optane drive? Would I have to move my graphics card to a 2.0 slot? Would that affect performance? Thanks!
