System Specifications:
CPU: i5-2500
Mobo: Generic Lenovo pre-built motherboard
RAM: 2x4gb G.SKILL Ripjaws DDR3
PSU: EVGA 750w BQ
I was using a GTX 480 in this system previously but uninstalled the drivers using DDU. I unplugged the PSU and drain the capacitors then proceeded to install the RX 580. 8 pin pci-e power was plugged in (multiple times to ensure a good fit). Unfortunately I still haven't received a signal and the system would not pass POST (I can tell by my mouse lighting up its DPI selector after it does pass). I have gone as far as to perform a clean install (not reinstall or restore) of windows. I checked for the generic motherboards drivers but they seem to have never been updated recently. I have a sneaking suspicion that my cheapo motherboard is the cause but when using my GTX 480 it has no problems. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
EDIT: System is running Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
