Hard disk shows 0.0gb

I recently built a pc , I have WD blue 1tb HDD in it but it shows 0.0 GB. Even when I tried installing windows 10, it showed the same and I was not able to install it. Please help.

If it is a new drive it needs to be initialized to see it in windows explorer. You should be able to see it in disk management though as an unpartitioned drive. If not new it could have had a Linux partition on it previously that will need to be cleaned off.

To test the drive get the WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostic for Windows from HERE and test it using another computer.
