After attempting to overclock my CPU through bios I saved the changes and since once the computer is turntable on its a constant black screen.

I have had a look and I do not have a CMOS switch nor button.

I have taken out the battery and flipped it around, held for 20 seconds and then back to the correct way but that did not work.

I have now removed the battery completely and leaving it to see if that resets the bios.

My motherboard is a msi 970a sli krait edition with a and 4100fx CPU.

Any tips to what I could do?

Solution
I believe that I have fixed the problem, it now booted into set up I chose restore to default and now has booted into windows, all I need to do is update my bios from the main website. Thank you for the help.

Sadly I'm not tech savvy and have searched all morning for a solution, if placing the battery back and the screen for set up bios or resetting it does not show what should I do?

have you tried the 30second rule? :D

shutdown your pc. switch off your psu. unplug the power cord. hold the power button for 30secs. reattach powercord, switch on psu. press power button.

also remove your gpu. and attach your display cable to the motherboard.

Check to see if you get beep errors by removing components off. Remove your ram and fire it up, remove gpu, then cpu etc to see if your mobo responds. Did you touch voltages during overclock? If so, do you remember the values?
