Im lagging and stuttering on any game(Especially gmod and rust), Please help me figure out why.
My Specs
Gpu- Geforce Gtx 1050, 2gb
Cpu- AMD Athlon ll X4 635, 4 core and 2.9 ghz
Ram- 4gb
Hdd- Seagate 7200rpm
motherboard- dont know full details but i know its a msi

Well your most defiantly being bottlenecked by your CPU, but the ram isnt helping either. If you ever want your PC to be good youll want to upgrade both. Right now you just have an garbage build spec wise due to your cpu and ram.
You need an upgrade.

Most likely your ram. 4 gbs of ram is not good enough to play high playercount games or games full of assets. Most modern games require atleast 8 gbs.

Also keep in mind, rust is just a poorly optimized game for some setups

some friends were saying it could be the cpu but it dosent get to 100% ever and its a quad core, is it possible?
