Maybe this is an overkill question and there is no real reason for asking, but no harm either in asking a question, so here I go:

Any reason to prefer one vs the other between these 2 4-bay external 3.5'' enclosures:

No, I'm not interested in the RAID functionality. I will but the JBOD version. I just have 3 HDDs in my full tower case and 1 in an external case. The older ones are smaller and around 10 years old. I use them for storage. Videos mostly, many of them shot with my GoPro. Just kept adding disks when I ran out of space.

Now I'm looking for an SSD upgrade, so I plan to move the HDDs to the external enclosure (except an old, small one which has Ubuntu installed). That will also prevent them from working all the time, when the PC is turned on. With the external enclosure I can turn them on only when I wish to access the files.
