Hi!
I’m at my wits end, for some reason oculus requires a USB 2.0 port of using a 3rd sensor. For some reason my Two 2.0 ports are not working, everything shows up fine on device manager and in bios, but whenever I plug anything into them nothing happens. All of my 3.0 ports work fine, I have tried reinstalling the chipset drivers for the motherboard and Updating bios, still won’t work, I even tried installing windows generic USB drivers and no luck.

MB: Asus Z97-A
OS: windows 7
Ram: 16gb
GPU: GTX 1080
Processor : 4790k i7

Thank you in advance for any help!

Solution
Yeah there three more dual USB 2.0 connectors at the bottom edge of the board that those cables I linked plug into. usually one set is in use for the front case USB 2.0 headers.

If it's both USB ports and they show up in device manager, that usually means the pico fuse is blown. technically it's replaceable but not really practical..

To get around it just install a cable to some of the other USB 2.0 headers

there's an actual space in the link, just copy and past to your browser to see the image.

Dang I was worried that might be the case, unfortunately the only remaining ports are all 3.0 I currently have no working 2.0 ports and this third oculus sensor has to be in a 2.0 port
