Should I get a 1440p monitor for my Razer Blade 17 (GTX 1060)?

I usually don't play super demanding games but I'd like to be able to in case I do get a demanding game. I'm also not a graphics or an fps freak so lowering the settings shouldn't be a problem if it still loks better than the game on 1080p with high settings. Also I was looking to buy the ASUS PB278Q.

The GTX 1060 is more a 1080p card. 1440p will be doable but in most modern games on lowered medium (maybe high, not extreme) settings. You should be fine if your overall system is good too and you really dont want too good texture quallity.
