I bought 2 RX 580s 8gb gtr model from bestbuy yesterday. They had one there and the other one they're shipping that will arrive in a couple days. Anyway, I'm wondering if I need a crossfire bridge?
I'm doing a dual RX 580 build to mine some crypto. Please let me know if I need a crossfire bridge, because I don't see a spot on the the one card that's arrived. The other card hasn't arrived yet and i'm not sure if I can attach them if I do need a bridge.
Some additional information that may help, my motherboard next to the two spots where you can insert the GPUs says "crossfire x ready". Maybe that means I don't need a bridge? I just don't know.
Also, I've read some people mention on this site, from other posts, that modern AMD GPUs don't require a crossfire bridge. Are my two GPUs considered modern enough to not need a bridge?
Anyone with any helpful information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Here's a link to the card I bought 2 of: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/xfx-amd-radeon-rx-580-8gb-gddr5-pci-express-3-0-graphics-card-black-crimson/5859900.p?skuId=5859900
