Hey guys, im planning on upgrading my cpu, I don't know if I should get the FX 8320 because I have a AM3 motherboard, or get the Ryzen 5 1600 cpu. If I get the Ryzen cpu I will need a new motherboard and new ddr4 ram. What do you guys think will be better for gaming? ( I play pubg and get 30-45 fps ) ( I'm also not looking to overclock )

Current Specs:
GTX 1060 3gb
AMD Phenom ii x6 1035t
DDR3 8gb ram (2x4gb)
EVGA 500W

A 1600 would be much better (I'm assuming you're talking about the 8320, since there's no 3820), though it depends on your budget. The FX line was immensely disappointing and even lower-end Ryzens tend to beat anything FX in most uses. Also, depending on your motherboard, you might not be able to run an 8320 anyway; you need to know specifics about the motherboard beyond just knowing its socket.

Then FX CPUs aren't an option, then. Your motherboard's CPU support tops out at Phenom IIs.
