I have a 2015 Macbook Pro on MacOS 10.13.2, my volume icon and mission control aren't see through anymore. They are more of a grey colour. I would like to know if there is a fix for this, I have tried reseting the SMC and the PRAM. Thanks.

Have you recently updated to High Sierra? I believe they may have changed the HUD elements to be more opaque. If that isn't the case, you could check in 'System Preferences' under 'Accessibility > Display'. There should be a checkbox there to 'Reduce Transparency'. You can check there, but I am pretty sure the update is what caused the change.
