Intel LAN Adapter Not Working

Hi,

I've just built myself a brand new pc, the motherboard being an Asus Prime Z370-a. Prior to build I had all drivers ready on a memory stick. I've installed Windows 10 and it's been activated using the product key.

When I plug my ethernet cable into the motherboard windows 10 doesn't detect it, I've tried installing the driver for the LOAN adapter from Asus's web page and intel (i219v Driver) but both installs fail saying "no intel network adapter found".

When I go into device manager, and under network adapters, all it shows is "Microsoft Kernel Debug Adapter".

I'm trying to get internet so I can install my antivirus and get going with windows updates etc!

Any help would be appreciated.

Run this from an elevated command prompt:

bcdedit /debug off

Then see if you can install the drivers and that it's working correctly.

Thanks for the suggestion, have actually got it working using Intel i219-V driver version 20.7.1 (which is a few months old), whislt not a "clean" fix, it is now working. Unsure what is wrong with the newer updates that don't work.
