HDMI port resolution locked?

Hello everyone and Happy New Year!!!

Just like yesterday I open my PC an the resolution is locked at 1024 x 768 using the HDMI cable... When I connect the VGA the resolution is back to normal full HD 1920 x 1080.

my system :
GTX 750
AMD 8350
GA 990X Gaming SLI

PS:
after further research when the HDMI cable is connected it doesn't recognise the monitor model and it sees is as DVI connection.
All the driver are up to date and I tried to uninstallthe nvidia and install it but nothing....

Thank you but nothing...
I have installed the monitor drivers Samsung S22D300 now when I use HDMI is completely blank.
Now trough the nvidia program when I do recognise screens it sees the main that is connected with VGA as namber 2 screen
So I don't think that is a hardware problem maybe a software so as my end result I will do a format...

Ok so after a full format the problem is the same without the drivers any of it with the VGA I have 1024x768 resolution and with HDMI I have 800x600. Also now I find when the bios logo is displayed the words down at the bottom are cut off.

PS
The port from the GPU is mini HDMI I use an adapter I have changed both the adapter and the cable but the result is the same...

So finally I have found the problem... The monitor port was problematic...
Unfortunately after I received back the monitor is full of scratches...
So one more problem....
Anyway my thanks to everyone...
