Got a 3 year old gaming PC, what to upgrade and in what order?

Motherboard: FM2 DDR3
Operating system: Windows 7 64 Bit
PSU: ATX 500B
Budget is £100/$134, want to upgrade PC for gaming and only for gaming

This. The FM2 Socket especially is **meh** for gaming performance especially by today's standards. You'd be best off saving until you have ~$200-$300 and then from there get a decent Ryzen CPU (Probably the Ryzen 5 1600), decent B350 (or A320 if you don't Overclock) board, and something like 8GB of memory depending on cost. If you wanted you could also go the Intel route, but I'm not sure the prices are low enough for what you'd be looking at.

Just save up for a rebuild really. Nothing in there except for maybe a harddrive is worth reusing.
