My MSI notebook has been notifying me about my low ssd space and how I should move space. I've checked my C: drive (my only drive) and it says i still have 914gb free. I really have no clue to whats the problem. If you need screenshots I will be willing to do so.

P.S: I don't really know a lot about laptops and computers so I really need help.

Solution

Well, you can do the reinstall again, this time selecting the 128GB SSD to install to.
During this process, you delete ALL partitions on both drives, ending with completely blank drives.
Then, you continue on with the install.

Ideally, you remove the 1TB drive during this process, but being a laptop, that may be...

1. A screencap of your Disk Management window, please.

2. Install and run WinDirStat. A screencap of that as well.

You actually have 2 drives.
A 128GB SSD, and a 1TB HDD.

Your 128GB SSD has absolutely nothing on it, except the boot info for the OS.
The OS and everything else resides on the 1TB HDD.

If this came from the store like this, they messed up the initial configuration badly.
We can probably fix it, but being a laptop, it won't be "easy".

It would be great if we could try to fix it but however recently I was resetting my laptop and it got stuck at 36%, so the impatient person I was I force shut it down. This led to my MSI laptop booting incorrectly so I decided to do a clean install to fix it. Apparently you were suppose to delete all the partions so I deleted some because I was scared I was gonna mess up my laptop. So I'm pretty sure I messed up laptop.

Also I have 2 question, During the clean install there were some partitions I were unable to delete do I just leave them? My second question is as I was using a hard drive for my clean install my hard drive showed up in this list of partitions, Do I delete that too?

Delete ALL partitions on both drives.
Booting from your Win 10 install USB, and selecting Custom when it asks 'wher', the install routine should let you do this.

Hello I'm back. Upon saying I would start the clean install I actually didn't. I just went to sleep instead because I was too tired. But let's forget about that. I'm currently performing the clean install and I'm still unable to delete the partitions.

Here is a screenshot of my problem: www.prntscr.sc/huzt26

It seems when I click a partition to delete the delete option is grayed out. I'm not sure how to fix this.

EDIT:
I've finished the clean install. I decided to just leave the unallocated space and delete the system partition and then install windows in Drive 1 Partition 1. The clean install was successful and MSI Dragon Centre has yet to notify me about my low ssd space but it might take time for it to notify me. Here are some screenshots that may or may not be useful for you:

WinDirStat - https://imgur.com/a/XUeUq

EDIT 2: Welp I made it worse. I have 0% free on my ssd so I'm in a bit of a pickle.

Yeah im sorry I dont really know which ones which because I'm kinda new to all this. So how exactly am I suppose to download it onto the ssd because I'm not sure which partition it is. I apologize for being an idiot :/

EDIT: I think I've done it correctly this time. I deleted the hdd and then download onto drive 0 which was my ssd. My laptop feels a lot faster too. I'll just have to wait if msi ever gives me the notification of low ssd storage
