Why a Black screen pop ups while playing games?

Pc specs:
CPU - Pentium g2020 2.9 ghz
MOBO - H61M-S1
RAM - 6gb ddr3.
GPU - Gt 1030 .
PSU - Techno smps 20+4 pin sata.
HDD - WD 1tb

Whenever i play some games a blank screen appears for a second or two and goes. Its too annoying. While playing CS:GO it appears after 40 to 45 mins of playing and on gta 4 its like every after 10 to 15 mins. Whats causing this ? How do i stop this?
Tried updating to latest gpu drivers, reinstalled windows. The temps are 45°C and 50°C for CPU and GPU respectively while playing. Any solution for this?

  1. These sorts of issues are often heat and/or power related. What is the make/model of your power supply?
  2. The maker is INTEX . PSU is Intex techno smps 450 20+4 pin sata.

That PSU-shaped object is the likely issue. I would suggest replacing with a quality PSU brand, like Seasonic, EVGA, or Corsair. Your PSU is likely failing/degrading under load and causing the issues.
  4. Really worth it? I mean i already spent on hard disk , a RAM stick and now this PSU. Will there be any further problems besides this? Any fix for this or buying a new PSU is the only option?
  5. Replacing the PSU is the likely fix, but not 100% guaranteed. What you have now (the PSU) is of very poor quality and it is not reliable.
  6. Is 300W PSU capable enough to fix this problem? Also my CPU &GPU temps were cool enough, right?so their temps weren't the problem, right? If buying a new PSU is the only solution then please suggest a good PSU as total wattage was around 130-150W (all components) , 300W PSU will do the work i guess.....
  7. Sorry, but the PSU you recommended isnt available in here in India, searched all online stores.
    Will this work out?

As Antec is also a trusted company.
  8. Yes. It would be a solid choice.
  9. So, you sure that this is a PSU problem and buying a new PSU ( PSU i found) will fix this?
