i7-7700k slow down problem URGENT!

I need urgent help:(
My CPU seems to be weird and slow so I did a benchmark(pass mark) and the results from it was weird. Integer math, prime number, and cpu single thread was in the 70th percentile which is low compared to what I got in the past. The most concerning result was the Floating Point Math test where I got only 2559, 25th percentile.
I have a i7-7700k, z270e, gtx 1080 strix
My bio is updated and I did driver tests which said they were healthy
Need help! Help please

um... I can't use that, not sure but I think it's old. Also, the reason I did the benchmark is that there seemed to be a huge slowdown in my games especially games that are heavily CPU based

are you saying that your CPU workednormally up until now and youre wondering why its slowing down? or its a new build and its been slow ever since?

only cause i can see is your OS throttling your CPU performance or youve changed your OC settings recently in the BIOS or with an OC software. you can double check your power plan if its changed. go to HIgh perfromance. you can also check its properties on processor power management. set it to 90% or all the way up to 100%. if youve changed your RAM recently and havent enabled its XMP profile also. mustve inadvertently changed your BIOS clock settings. try resetting to optimized defaults. and redo your OC from there.

also thermal throttling. so have a software that can monitor your temps\performance graphis. like msi afterburner. if you notice sudden drops. then you have to double check your cpu cooler. maybe need to reapply the thermal paste.

It worked normally but it was slowing down so I reset the computer which didn't resolve the problem....
idk.... there isn't any thermal throttling though
