Just a short query
I already have a SB 0460 PCI Running fine.
So would 0880 PCI E x1 would be an upgrade or downgrade and why?

It's tough to say. How do you use it? What are your needs?

It's been awhile since I had one, but I remember the X Fi Xtreme Music as being pretty good. So, without knowing your specific needs, I'd say it's probably not worth the cost to upgrade in most cases.
