I have foxconn h67mxv mobo.. that is compatible with 1600mhz ram if ivy bridge processor. Though i have i3 3210 ivy bridge.. But i bought a new ram HyperX fury 8gb ddr3 1866mhz.. so does 1866mhz ram support my board? Cause its 1600mhz max. Does it damage my mobo?

THANKS.

Solution
The 1866 modules will not damage your motherboard or anything else. They may not work though, although usually you can go into the bios and set the memory to 1600 with the appropriate timing.
