Hello,

I'm in the process of building a new pc and I ran across a little bump i did not notice before. For my PSU, I bought the RM850x. For my gpu i went with the Zotac 1080 Amp Extreme, which requires dual 8 pin pci-e cables to power.

Now my problem, which I didnt notice until now is my psu is only showing a place to plug in a single 8 pin pci-e cable. With the cables that came with it, it splits of at 2 points giving a grand total of 2 8 pins (picture below). Do I plug both of these into the gpu or does it have to be from 2 seperate PCI-E cables?

I just want to make sure I'm plugging everything in right so my first build doesnt go down the guter. Thank you for your time.

Your psu has 5 connectors for PCIE cables - 2 in the top row and 3 in the middle row (all 8pin connectors).
In your picture PSU is flipped upside down btw.

I'd use 2 cables for connecting GTX 1080. Probably not significant, but it will cause less heating of psu cables.
